Meet Faith
Hailing from Hudson Valley, NY, Faith Rivers is an community engagement & social media strategist, workshop facilitator, educator, and professional hairstylist. Faith has spent the last 13+ years working in the professional haircare industry. She championed inclusion and belonging for underrepresented hair textures by creating tailored curricula, educational materials and marketing strategy for hairstylists, salons, consumers, and business stakeholders. Learning from the writings of Audre Lorde, bell hooks, James Baldwin, Sonya Renee Taylor, Brene Brown, and Daisaku Ikeda to name a few, Faith understands that haircare acts as a gateway to conversations about identity and belonging.
Joining forces with the RARE team, Faith is expanding her impact by facilitating transformative conversations within communities. With a warm and approachable demeanor, she remains dedicated to creating a more inclusive world through her work in the justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion space.
