Phillip Chavira joins RARE Coaching and Consulting as COO with 15 years of finance/admin and 8 years of fundraising experience that has garnered millions of dollars directed towards mission driven work across sectors like nonprofit arts and conservation, for-profit entertainment, and higher education. Phillip believes in supporting underrepresented voices and is based in Northern California Bay Area. He recently managed operations, infrastructure and business growth as the Finance Director of Point Reyes National Seashore Association, the largest nonprofit partner to Pt Reyes Nat’l Park Service. Phillip was previously the first Executive Director of Color at Intiman Theatre in Seattle, WA where he championed free tickets to welcome more people and retired $2.7m in debt & obligations.
